Armatis has opened a new call center platform in Madagascar, a site the French group says is designed to reach 700 employees by the end of 2027 across nearly 4,000 square meters of premises. The facility is positioned as a next-generation expertise center, built for customer relationship roles and intended to support the development of new professions around artificial intelligence.
The Madagascar opening marks a new stage in the group’s international rollout, which has already taken it to Portugal, then Tunisia and Morocco in early 2026. The site is designed to progressively host new activities for French and pan-European clients. Armatis frames it as a delivery platform rather than a simple back-office outpost.
On the operational side, the group is announcing the progressive development of digital activities and value-added services on the site. The offer includes software development, data qualification and enrichment, and services that combine artificial intelligence with human expertise. Over time, the company says the Madagascar operation is intended to become a hub of competencies for the group, bringing together production roles, digital expertise and functions requiring higher technical skill. The teams already work on “B to C” surveys, satisfaction studies, data refinement and digital production.
The group emphasizes that its Malagasy teams are already producing to group standards, supported by training programs, close managerial support and regular monitoring of service quality. Fateh Rouabah, director of Armatis in Madagascar, described the intent behind the build: “We wanted to create a site capable of producing quickly, in good conditions, while preparing the skills we will need tomorrow.” He added that “the first activities launched, the quality of the teams and the projects underway show that this ambition is already taking shape.”
Working conditions were treated as an essential part of the project from its design, according to the company. Employees have access to a health insurance plan (mutuelle), a transport service operating day and night, a collective catering space and a “Culture and activities” living area. These provisions sit alongside the production goals, reflecting the group’s argument that reliable delivery depends on how the site is run day to day.
The trajectory the group has set is explicit: 700 staff by end 2027, in a facility of nearly 4,000 square meters, with activity ramping up in stages as clients come on board. For an audience tracking whether the plan holds, the early indicators the company points to are the first activities already engaged, the quality of the teams and the projects in progress. Whether the site evolves from a call center platform into the broader competencies hub Armatis describes will depend on execution over the coming two years.
